BRE (Tyndale University), MCS (Regent College), Arrow Leadership Program Graduate, is founder of Clairvaux Ventures, Ltd., providing circles of quiet within the clamor of evil (Ps 94:12 MSG) for young professionals and global change agents in various disciplines and structural models who are willing to intentionally rediscover, redevelop, and redeploy their own visions, values, and protocols. From gutters to pulpits, Kirk spent eight years in local church leadership. From back rooms to coliseums, Kirk spent a decade working throughout North America with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. From legal offices to financial towers, Kirk spent two years as VP of a private oil and gas company. From sabbaticals to occasional epiphanies, Kirk has sought out a simple life of prayer and work. Kirk and Darlene make their home in Canmore, Alberta. Within their lifestyle of prayer and work, Kirk and Dar raise their three children, Luke, Bree, and Nate.
Often introduced as an expert on media influences, Brett Ullman travels North America speaking to adolescents, leaders and their parents on topics including sexuality, substance abuse and self-injury. Driven by a desire to discuss, explore and share the Christian reality of living in a media-saturated world, Brett’s seminars engage and challenge attendees through high-impact, technology-driven presentations. Participants are inspired to reflect on what we know, what we believe and how our Ancient Faith ought to serve as the lens through which we view and engage modern culture.
David Sawler is presently pastoring and leading a Church planting ministry in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, an area with one of the lowest Christian populations in Canada. With thirteen years of experience in youth and young adult ministry David’s passion is to help reach and disciple the upcoming generations. For the past fours years David has been running a ministry called ‘Goodbye Generation’. He has written, taught, and has been telling the stories of those who either grew up in the church, or attended for a time, but have left. David and Shirley have three teenagers of their own and a St. Bernard called bear.
Vaden Earle is the co-founder and CEO of Absolute Leadership Development Inc. Vaden has the incredible talent of releasing vision and purpose in others, as his life message is all about making vision a reality, and not giving up until the end result is in your grasp. His dynamic and avant-garde approach is sure to activate his audience, and yet his unaffected manner will keep them at ease, and assure them that change really is possible!
In 1999, Vaden and Christal Earle began to envision a generation of youth who focused their thoughts and energies on helping others and who were themselves changed in the process. They developed the Absolute Motivational Experience and began to visit high schools in 2002. To date, over 700,000 young people have attended the assemblies which have developed into outstanding multi-media presentations aimed specifically at the teenage audience. At the same time, Absolute launched a leadership training school, giving post-graduate students the chance to live out this vision, and develop a mandate of their own. 2005 then marked the inaugural year of Hero Holiday, taking large numbers of students to developing nations to participate in humanitarian efforts. Having grown exponentially, by the end of 2008, Hero Holiday had hosted more than 1500 participants.
Having been recently nominated for numerous speaking and entrepreneurial awards, Vaden has accumulated vast amounts of experience in a relatively small amount of time. He has spoken and traveled with teams all over Canada and the United States, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, and is also a leader in his own community. He has consulted for World Vision, been a keynote speaker for Home Depot Canada, CSLC (Canadian Student Leadership Conference), the Millennium Scholarship Foundation and numerous other leadership events and social justice conferences. He has also been featured on several television programs and radio interviews, and his materials have been used in numerous books and publications. Most recently, he has authored a bestselling social justice book entitled One: A Face behind the Numbers.
